CJF America Takes Control of Its Future: Expanding on Our Terms

After months of frustration, delays, and being strung along by bureaucratic red tape, CJF America has made a bold decision: we’re taking matters into our own hands. No longer waiting on others to make things happen for us, we’ve decided to go it alone and launch our own rollout of new services, programs, and hubs to better serve the people who truly matter — the communities in need.

For far too long, we have been held back by endless requests for donations, promises that didn’t materialize, and delays that kept us from fulfilling the mission we set out to accomplish. We were told to wait, to adjust, to hope for a different outcome — and yet, time and again, we were met with excuses and indecision. In the process, the voices of the very people we are trying to serve were drowned out by those sitting in ivory towers, disconnected from the everyday challenges that our communities face.

Enough is enough.

Why We’re Taking the Leap

Our mission has always been clear: to directly serve the people. The systems in place weren’t working for them, and they certainly weren’t working for us. After careful consideration, we’ve realized that if we want to create real change, we have to do it ourselves. We’ve been given a gift of clarity: our strength lies not in waiting for others to move but in moving ourselves.

So, here we are. CJF America is launching 130 new positions and opening new hubs across the country in 17 new locations. This is no longer about waiting on bureaucracy or “playing nice” with systems that aren’t designed to help the people we care about. We’re building our own future, and it’s happening now.

What This Means

• 130 New Jobs: We’re creating meaningful opportunities across the country, giving people the chance to work for an organization that’s truly driven by the needs of the community. We’re not just filling positions — we’re building a team of passionate, dedicated individuals who care about making a real difference.

• Opening 17 New Hubs: We are expanding into markets where we’ve been asked to be for years, and we’re doing it on our own terms. New locations are opening in Alabama, North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, and more, giving us a broader reach than ever before.

• No More Bureaucratic Red Tape: We’re not waiting for approvals, or permission. We’re moving forward with the expansion we know is necessary to serve those who need it the most. We’ve stopped waiting for others to dictate our pace and have decided to push ahead — and the people are with us.

What’s Next?

As we move forward, the rollout of new positions and programs will take place throughout the summer and into the end of the year. By the time we’ve completed our rollout, we will have achieved full coverage across the nation. And most importantly, we’ll be doing it for the people, not the bureaucracy.
